Since April. And it's not going away. And - the security issues are still the same, really. He'd be just as upset to have me harmed as he would even if we weren't dating.

[ No, he wouldn't try to put an end to any of this though if someone from their part of the Nexus arrived and decided to take up arms he'd rather know now than have it sprung on him later. Not that knowing now makes it any easier to wrap his mind around with the little he knows of their Emperor.

Vor. Their romantic entanglements are best left alone. ]

It's fortunate the planet we're on is more open to such relationships than Barrayar.

[ Ow, Duv. Miles really should get used to the thought that not everyone from home is going to like this relationship. But it still stings. ]
